Residential air duct cleaning

Why should you get residential ducts cleaned?

An inspection can help determine whether your ductwork needs cleaning. Consider having your system checked if you notice substantial debris buildup, dust being released from registers, or construction debris following renovations.

We explain what we find and recommend cleaning when appropriate. If we observe conditions outside our cleaning scope, we’ll discuss whether another qualified professional should evaluate them.

Check out our "Air Duct Cleaning" page for additional information.

What to Compare in an Air Duct Cleaning Estimate

When comparing estimates, look beyond the advertised price. Ask what the service includes:

• Which supply ducts, return ducts, registers, and HVAC components will be cleaned?
• How will debris be loosened and collected?
• How will your home and belongings be protected?
• Are access openings, cleanup, and documentation included?
• What limitations or additional charges could apply?

Morris Air Duct Pros provides a clear scope of work before scheduling, so you can understand what is included and make an informed decision.

Negative Air System

Our cleaning process combines vacuum collection with agitation tools to loosen and remove accumulated dust and debris. We select methods suited to your duct materials, system layout, and access conditions. The agreed scope identifies the ductwork and HVAC components included in your cleaning.

Morris Air Duct

The Air Duct Cleaning process

We inspect accessible ductwork and HVAC components to assess buildup, existing conditions, and access needs. We document our findings and explain the proposed cleaning scope, including any limitations or concerns, before work begins.

We connect professional vacuum collection equipment to your duct system and establish negative pressure to collect debris loosened during cleaning. We select equipment and access locations based on your system’s layout and condition. Registers are covered or managed as needed to control airflow during the process.

With vacuum collection operating, we use agitation tools suited to the duct materials and condition to loosen accumulated debris. We work through accessible supply and return ductwork included in your cleaning scope, directing loosened material toward the collection equipment.

We clean the accessible HVAC components included in your agreed scope of work. Any access openings we create are closed and sealed using appropriate materials. We remove temporary register coverings, check system operation, clean the work area, and review our findings and completed work with you.
